Dual motor AWD or just the RWD?

I must say that it all depends on where you live. When it snows, it doesn't really matter if you have an all-wheel drive or not, especially when the roads are extremely slippery. For me, I would just opt for the rwd; it is cheaper.

If the budget allows, AWD is definitely a great choice for better handling and traction, especialy in tricky conditions.

If budget permits, AWD is the way to go. What’s your preferred powertrain for the 2024 Acura ZDX?

If you're not too worried about super-fast acceleration or having enough range for long daily commutes (like over 200 miles), the RWD model is the way to go.

We have both, and my wife loves her RWD. It's lighter and handles better. I got the AWD for the extra power and the peace of mind of having all-wheel drive, especially in bad weather. I didn't need 20-inch wheels or track mode – those things just seem like trouble waiting to happen. I don't want to worry about flat tires or the temptation to push the car too hard on a track.

The RWD is definitely more efficient. It's lighter and has smaller wheels. We usually just fully charge the RWD once a week, while the AWD does better with 80% charges. So in real-world use, there's not a huge difference in range between them.

I'm curious about how the RWD handles road trips, though. I'm not sure how fast it charges with the LFP battery. My AWD can start charging super fast, but then it slows down. So charging times vary depending on the charger, but the newer, more powerful ones are really quick.

If anyone has experience with the LFP battery and road trips, I'd love to hear about it!

Great breakdown...For road trips, the RWD with LFP battery should still be fine, but expect slower charging speeds at less powerful stations.
