Why is my driver side floor mat wet?

Water is pooling on my driver’s side floor mat and carpet, right below the left footrest. It seems to be coming from above under the dash, but I can’t find the source. I suspect a clogged or disconnected sunroof drain, but it’s odd since both the mat and carpet are wet. Could it be water from the cowl or A-pillar? I’m planning to test with a hose, any other ideas?

Thanks, I’m leaning toward the sunroof drain too, but I’ll test it with a hose just to rule out the cowl or A-pillar.

@Josh Have you found the source of that leak yet? We're really concerned and would appreciate an update as soon as possible.

Could be the sunroof drain or cowl. Hose test is a good call, also check the door seals and firewall while you’re at it.
