I am looking into trading my actual car for a 2024 ZDX. The EV cockpit touchscreen, rebates, and my daily 20-mile commute make an EV seem like a good fit.
But I need some help with these.
Acura says the ZDX will be sold online only. How has that worked for past models like the NSX, Integra, or TLX PMC? Do dealers still handle financing, trade-ins, and Acuracare? Can buyers compare prices between dealers?
Are there any sales or production estimates for the ZDX? I know the Prologue was set for more than 50k units last year, but I haven't seen numbers for the ZDX. Will it be hard to get, maybe for this year?
Will dealers have test-drive models?
Does anyone know the Ultium charging details from the Lyriq? How much power is needed per mile? How fast does it charge on a 220V or 110V outlet? Thanks!

The Prologue seems to be selling well, almost as well as the Mach-E. The Lyric is selling well too. The ZDX appears to be selling slowly. I've heard many ideas as to why, most of which seems to be "nobody wants an Acura built by Cadillac". Don't know. I really love my ZDX however. I like the interior better than the Lyric, but I'm torn exterior-wise between the two.

Charging speeds you can find online with Acura. Go poke around. but 110V charging is near worthless. On a 240V/60A circuit I can get about 10% per hour. And guaranteed dealers still handle financing, etc. They just don't want to stock them on the lots.

The ZDX’s online sales model follows a similar process to other brands, with dealers handling financing and trade-ins, I think charging rates are about 3-4 miles per kWh.
