For me, the vertical cupholders in the MDX are my favorite feature, and I hope the upcoming ZDX includes them! I like the MDX's clean, traditional dashboard, and I hope Acura keeps things simple for the ZDX as well.

I know this isn't going to happen but give me knobs and dials any day! These touchscreens are great, but there's something satisfying about feeling a real button click when adjusting something. Call me old-fashioned, but I prefer the direct control that physical buttons offer. Maybe I am just stuck in my ways!

I know right! Less tech = less headache

I am not against buttons at all, but it is also a hassle if the buttons get stuck in the same position and I wouldn't be able to use the feature anymore unless it gets fixed. The downside with touchscreens though is if it malfunctions then you need to either replace or get it serviced which still costs money.

I still prefer buttons over these fancy techs, remember the days when everything had a purpose? Every button only has one command and the word complicated was not part of our vocabulary. I agree with @jackie_malkova, less tech=less headache, I just think we're just getting too old to even figure out how modern tech works.

As a former Tesla M3 oowner, I like buttons for some things, and prefer screen for others. Anything that involves a driver preference, that's not accessed frequently, anything that might need to be updated or improved over time, or anything that's a seldom accessed car config item can be on a touchscreen. Though I think screens that have a rotary dial on the center console, such that they can be used to select menu items on the screen, are even better. (Like Mazda for example) However, things like seat heaters/ventilation, HVAC, audio volume, windshield wipers/washers, anything you need to access while driving, (especially with winter gloves on) needs to be a physical button you can simply reach out and actuate without looking... or by taking a fleeting glance to locate, then actuate with eyes on the road. Are you listening Honda/Acura? I so hope you are the guys that figure out the right balance for this.

I need a wrist rest. If we switch the trackpad and wireless charger, I won't need a separate wrist rest. But I'm not sure if that would be comfortable.
