I haven't personally experienced this with the Mach-E, but I've noticed that when using the Tesla app with a ZDX, it only displays Supercharger locations that have the necessary adapters.
In terms of charging speed, I was able to achieve a peak rate of 125 kW, but it settled around 99 kW for the majority of the charge. The cost was $0.59/kWh, so I didn't spend too much time charging.
I used an A2ZEV Typhoon Pro adapter on my ZDX. It works so the Mach-E adapter should as well. You have to lie to the Tesla App however, tell it you are a Lyric, not a ZDX. Initiate charging from the Tesla app, then plug the charging cable into the car when prompted.
