Acura ZDX charging schedule issue

My Acura ZDX's delayed charging feature isn't working correctly. I am not using the Acura EV app, but rather the built-in charging system. Despite setting a charging schedule for 8 p.m., the car frequently begins charging earlier.

I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar issues with delayed charging. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.

The time you set in your car’s system (like in your case - 8pm) isn’t when charging actually kicks off - it’s just when you want it to be finished, okay?
So your car does the math and figures out the best time to start chargnig based on how much juice is left and how long it’ll take to hit your target charge. It makes sure your all topped off just when you need it!
