Acura Portable Charger Giving Me Trouble

Ok, so I'm having some trouble with my Acura portable charger. It just won”t do the scheduled charging thing, no matter what I try. I”ve tested it with a few ZDXs and tried it at different spots, but I keep getting these "Service Charging System" or "Bad Cord" error messages. Even the delearship is scratching their heads.

Anyone else run into this, or maybe found a fix?

I’ve faced the same with the ZDX's scheduling feature, it’s been finicky for me too. I ended up bypassing the car’s schedule settings and used my wall charger’s schedule instead, setting the ZDX to “charge now.” That stopped the error messages for me, and it's been reliable ever since.

Just to clarify, do you have a wall-mounted charger or a portable one? Sounds like you’ve got a wall charger, but perhaps not the one that Acura throws in with the car, right?

I’m using a wall-mounted charger, not the one Acura provides with the ZDX. The wall charger has its own schedule, which I set to manage the charging times. The ZDX is just set to “charge now,” which worked better for me than relying on the car’s schedule settings.
