My ZDX battery is totally dead every day! I get this warning to shut everything down, and then I have to recharge it. I think I might have finally figured it out, though. I'm betting it's the Bluetooth thingy. It was probably using just enough juice to let the car start, but also causing the warning, and I'm guessing it would have eventually killed the battery completely. Gonna wait a couple of days to see if that fixes it, but I'm pretty sure it will.

I have a friend who had a similar one. His window switch was sticky for a random reason and it was causing the button to be pressed most of the time. After he cleaned it, he didn't have any further issues.

I had an issue with my car draining quickly, and it turned out to be an app syncing in the background. After disabling it, the battery drained much slower, lets is if your Bluetooth theory works.

Make sure you turn off all your lights, the radio, and any other electronics when you turn off the car. Also, check and clean your battery terminals. If your car sits for long periods, try to start it once a week or use a trickle charger to keep the battery topped up.

Bluetooth can definitely draw power without you realizing. If it’s still draining after a few days, you might want to check for any software updates as well—sometimes bugs get fixed in those, and they can help with battery drain too!

Can a small component cause so much trouble in draining the battery? Do we have another way to prevent this from happening?

My son usually connects his device via bluetooth to play music and he does a lot when driving.
