I rarely see ZDXs around here, but the dealer seems to have plenty in stock. Is Acura and Honda really struggling to sell them? Thoughts?

The Prologue is selling about as well as the Mach-E, which is impressive. (The Mach-E itself out-sells the gas Mustang!). I'm seeing more ZDX's but not a ton. I know the Lyric is selling well.

On a short road trip over the last 3 days I saw two Prologues and two ZDX's on my travels.

It might be a regional thing, but Acura’s newer models often take time to catch on. The ZDX’s niche market could be affecting sales too.

Great to hear the Prologue is doing well! The ZDX is probably still gaining traction, but it's good to see more of them. The Lyric definitely seems to be a hit too!

True, Acura’s newer models can take time to gain traction. The ZDX’s specific target market definitely plays a role in its sales.

Neither Austin dealer has any ZDX in stock. It's order only. Interesting. Cadillac has 2025 Lyrics in-stock. Also interesting they kept the CCS port.

I have looked at the new EV Escalade online. Expensive, long range. Still a CCS port, but they moved it to the same location as a Tesla port, which will make Supercharging so much easier. The port location is the one thing I hate most about the ZDX. Absolutely the wrong place.

My dealer had 26 in stock, and I was the first to get one. I’ve yet to see another on the road, though I do come across a lot of Lyriqs. I’ve had it for a few days now and really enjoy it. It's pretty awesome being one of the few who have it at the moment.

I live in CA near San Francisco and leased mine in August 2024 and have yet to see another one on the road?

The Acura ZDX is picking up steam, with its best sales month in October 2024 and over 7,300 units sold by the end of the year. It’s still facing tough competition in the crowded EV market, especially with some shared components from GM, but it's slowly carving out its niche. The buzz is growing, but it has a way to go before it becomes a top contender.

Perplexity.ai tells me similar. 7,391 ZDX sold in 2024, with 1,384 in 2025 already (on pace for 10k or more this year). Honda Prologue was 33,000 units, a good number for a partial year!
