bad motor mounts

has anyone else had to replace their motor mounts a lot? i drive pretty hard, but i feel like i'm replacing them way too often.

I’ve heard of others replacing motor mounts more often with aggressive driving. It could be worth checking if there's an underlying issue with alignment or mount quality.

Is this something you can do yourself? How much did it cost you? I wouldn’t call myself a gentle driver, but I haven’t had to replace a motor mount yet.

That is quite tricky. If you are on a tight budget you might want to check with the dealers or even local mechanics in your area and check what the estimated charge is. Beware of those add on offers from dealers that are not needed.
